【生態旅遊講座】2014.09.16 外國人看臺灣原鄉地區永續觀光發展

旅程中，不同於家鄉的最是引人，不熟悉的最易勾起好奇～

Westerners have a love of Nature and a curiosity about other cultures, especially those that are very different from theirs. Thus, Taiwan’s indigenous communities are very attractive, offering numerous ecotourism and cultural tourism opportunities. For indigenous communities searching for a source of income that will allow them to preserve their culture and environment, sustainable tourism is important. How can these factors be combined so that indigenous communities and Western travelers benefit from the development of sustainable tourism?

Cheryl，出生於美國加州，目前定居台中，1989年來到臺灣，1997年任國立自然科學博物館翻譯解說，自此踏入台灣原民世界而流連忘返，甚至出書教我們如何到部落旅遊。

文化是倫理、土地是母親，原住民對自然、對部落文化有著不可割的親情，
這份特殊，是西方人進行文化旅遊及生態旅遊的最佳元素。

一個在台1/4世紀的外國人，比大多數臺灣人還明白臺灣的特別，
在她的眼中，原鄉有何特殊？是什麼讓她成為部落的女兒？
